The Pre-Masters programme is a course that prepares international students for a Master’s Degree at UK universities. The course is designed for students whose current English qualifications do not meet the necessary entry requirements for Master’s Degrees. The programme includes four general modules and specialised modules in the area of your choice. The English skills for academy study will prepare you for your IELTS examination as well as improve your academic English.
Flexible programmes to suit your aspirationsThe Pre-Masters programme includes four general modules that all students take, including Pre-Masters English skills to ensure your language skills correspond to what is required at postgraduate level in the UK. Another module will introduce you to British culture and society, and is an informative account of modern day Britain. These are the three pathways you can select on this programme:
- Business and Management: This pathway introduces students to topics including organisational behaviour, international and business operations management. You will learn about historical developments, approaches to management theory, leadership, change and culture and develop the ability to critically analyse the application and use of a range of business models.
- Law: Legal studies are present in almost every area of life, touching upon issues relating to business, economics, the environment, human rights, international relations and more. This pathway will provide a framework to examine and understand different societies and cultures.
- Art and Design: This programme will expand your knowledge of a creative subject area and give you the opportunity to specialise in fine art, design, fashion and graphics, or the area of your choice.
